Nice little road trip with it, 100-110kph cruising speed... I got to Amagasaki in a bit under 3h, stopping for breakfast on the way... Awesome car!
It will be on its way to Baltimore then Philadelphia starting Match 27th!

It looks a little French from the rear, and a little Italian from the front. You see it?

Very pretty car! Did seatbelts get installed? I seem to think I remember you saying it had none...?

Nope, no seatbelt :)
(which is actually street legal for pre-1968 cars in Japan)

I know many had no rear seatbelts all the way into the 90s!

Wearing a seatbelt in the rear still isn’t required in Japan unless you’re on the freeway...

Wow, really? That seems kinda archaic...then again, I think a lot of American states don’t require seatbelt use...

Japan... again, they are starting to advertise for central heating in houses and an actual personal stamp is still required for pretty much any paperwork like it was in the 17th century soooooo :)
I can’T remember the amount of times I’ve seen kids on their mother’s lap while driving around town.
